Job Duties:
- Leading and managing civil and construction engineering projects from inception to completion
- Overseeing project planning, design, and construction activities
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on engineering issues
- Monitoring project progress and budget compliance
- Identifying and resolving any issues or risks that may arise during the project
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence
- Demonstrated experience in leading civil and construction engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and construction engineering
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Additional professional certifications
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in an office environment with occasional site visits
- May require travel to project sites and meetings with stakeholders
- Full-time hours with potential for overtime during project deadlines
