Job Title: Engineer, Building Management Systems
Location:
Limpopo, Waterberg District, Lephalale
Job Type:
6 month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
- Design, implement, and maintain building management systems
- Conduct system troubleshooting and repairs
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on system integration
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Provide technical support to end-users and maintenance staff
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
- PrEng with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
- Proven experience in building management systems
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, lighting, access control, and energy management systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in BMH systems design, including limestone and gypsum handling systems
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of HVAC, lighting, access control, and energy management systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
