Job Summary
Job Title: Electrical Lead Engineer
Location: Limpopo, Waterberg District, Lephalale
Job Type: 6 month Contract, Full-Time
Job Duties:
- Lead and oversee electrical engineering projects from conception to completion
- Develop electrical design plans, specifications, and estimates
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Coordinate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that may arise during projects
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
- Proven experience in leading electrical engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practises
- Excellent communication and project management skills
Experience:
- At least 5 years related experience in supply, installation & commissioning of MV and LV electrical reticulation systems.
- Experience in leading and managing engineering projects
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
