Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stainless Steel TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise welding and fabrication of stainless-steel components used in our solvent recovery and recycling systems. This position requires expertise in TIG welding and a strong understanding of stainless-steel fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components to create high-quality, precise welds.
• Fabricate stainless steel parts, including cutting, shaping, and assembling components based on blueprints and technical drawings.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure structural integrity, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Utilize various tools and equipment, including grinders, saws, and measuring instruments, to complete fabrication tasks.
• Work with engineering and project teams to review designs, resolve fabrication challenges, and provide input for process improvements.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
• Ensure that the work area is clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a TIG Welder/Fabricator, specifically working with stainless steel.
• Proficiency in TIG welding techniques with a strong focus on precision and quality.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of stainless-steel properties, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in stainless steel fabrication, including grinders, plasma cutters, and measuring instruments.
• Ability to inspect and test welds for quality and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to welding and fabrication.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
