My client is seeking an experienced Operations & Scheduling Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the forward planning and daily scheduling of a fleet of over 100 vehicles, ensuring smooth operations and quick response to operational challenges such as breakdowns, last-minute bookings, and staff availability. This role also involves managing related administrative processes and providing strong support to the wider operations team, including handling disciplinary procedures where required.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Own, reliable transport
Valid Code B Driver’s License
Flexibility to work varied hours as operationally required
Availability for weekly standby duties on a rotating schedule
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in scheduling a fleet of at least 30 vehicles with dynamic and irregular daily schedules
Proven experience initiating and managing disciplinary procedures
Strong ability to interpret fuel usage analysis
Competency in interpreting vehicle utilization data
