NAIL-SPA THERAPIST

START: A.S.A.P / (Visa-pending)

REPORT TO: Spa Director

CONTRACT: 2-years contract with option to renew

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Tuesday - Sunday 09:00 - 20:00
• 9-hour standard shift per day including breaks
• 1 day off per week (Sunday)
• 14 days annual paid leave (after 1 year completed service)

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• $600 - 800$ (US Dollar) per month
• Commission generated on services performed and retail sold - paid out annually after completion of 1 year service (incentive bonus)

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Passport - valid for traveling
2. Internationally accredited qualification in Beauty Therapy / Spa Therapy or Cosmetology
3. CIDESCO / ITEC / CIBTAC / BABTAC / City & Guilds or similar international certification
4. Grade 12 / Matric or similar high school senior certificate

EXPERIENCE:

1. Confident command of the English Language (read, write & speak)
2. Cruise Ship or other international employment experience - beneficial but not essential
3. a MINIMUM of 3 years industry experience in a day spa

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

1. Body Therapies (Massage, Exfoliation, Wraps)
2. Manicure & Pedicure (Including Gel Polish) - this is essential to this role

• Maintain a professional relationship with clients, colleagues and management

• Maintains safety standards and cleanliness
• Maintains a consistent relationship with client base in order to ensure return clients
• Proactively develop new customers
• Attends and participates in continuing education and training in order to follow new trends and techniques
• Knowledge of Salon and Spa procedures
• Conduct salon and Spa services using appropriate product application as stated and trained.
