Job Summary
AESTHETIC SKIN CARE THERAPIST
BERGVLIET - Cape Town City, Western Cape (South Africa)
START: January 2025
Report to: Owner / Manager
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30 (including lunch break)
- Saturday 08:00 - 15:00 (including lunch break)
- CLOSED on Sundays & Major Public Holidays
- 45 working hours per week (5x shifts per week)
- 1x Saturday off per month + days off in the week
REMUNERATION & INCOME POTENTIAL:
- Market Related BASIC Salary (Based on Qualification, Skills desired & Experienced offered)
- Service Commission 10% from R1+
- Retail Commission 10% from R1+
- Performance incentives
QUALIFICATIONS & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- South African citizen Or valid working permit for employment in SA
- Matric
- CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds
- N-Dip Somatology OR Health & Skin Care Diploma (minimum 2-year qualification)
- BONUS: Dermal Aesthetics / Advanced Somatology qualification
- Laser / IPL Certified
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of TWO years in an aesthetic environment performing Somatic and Aesthetic treatments
- At least ONE year performing Laser OR IPL treatments
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Skilled and confident to perform the following Somatology treatments
- Skin Care and Facials
- Body therapies including basic massage
- Manicure & Pedicure services including Gel Polish application
- Waxing & Tinting
2. Competent in the following Aesthetic Services:
- Laser Hair Removal / IPL
- Laser Skin Rejuvenation / IPL
- Derma Pen / Nano needling / Skin Needling / Micro needling
- Advanced Skin Care & Chemical Peels
- Facial Machines
- Slimming Therapies
BONUS:
- Lash Lift
- Brow Lamination
- Threading
- LED Therapy
- Dermaplaning
- Lash Extensions
- Radiofrequency /RF body / RF Skin
