Job Summary
Our client located in Bellville is looking for a Company Secretarial Administrator to join their growing professional services team. The successful candidate would have been in the same role for at least two years. This is not a normal secretarial role - please read key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure that the company complies with relevant laws and regulations, including industry standards and corporate governance guidelines.
- Corporate Secretarial Duties: Maintain accurate records, manage board meetings, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Familiar with the Companies Act 71 of 2008 and able to comprehend different sections of the Act.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to uphold legal and regulatory standards.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Training and Education: Provide guidance and training to staff members on compliance-related matters to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance principles.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- SARS efiling (preferred)
