We're looking for a detail-oriented Store Administrator to manage and streamline admin functions across finance, HR, stock, and store operations. You'll play a vital role in supporting daily business processes, overseeing cashier/admin staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
Daily Admin & Finance: Process GRVs, GRSs, IBTs, credit notes, and bank claims. Handle petty cash, reconciliations, and cashbook tasks.
HR Support: Manage staff documentation, ESS updates, leave schedules, and WCA reporting.
Debtors & Creditors: Maintain up-to-date reconciliations, credit applications, age analysis, and resolve queries.
Reporting & Compliance: File and archive key documents, handle internal audits, monitor outstanding accounts, and support the GL Controller.
Procurement & IT Support: Place EVAR orders, log IT tickets, and assist with general store resource planning.
Team Coordination: Supervise cashier and general office assistant duties, oversee float handovers, and plan staff shifts/training.
Matric Certificate
Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
1-2 years’ experience in a similar retail/admin role
Computer literate (MS Office, internal systems like ProIV, SharePoint, EVAR)
Bookkeeping or related qualification (advantageous)
2+ years retail admin experience
Strong admin, planning, and organisational skills
Confident communicator and problem-solver
Excellent attention to detail and integrity in handling finances
Team player with a proactive attitude
Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Must work Saturdays, stocktakes, public holidays, and overtime when required
Presentable with high standards of professionalism
