Description:Hire Resolve's Client, a reputable mining company in the Northern Cape, is currently looking for a Production Senior Engineer to join their mining team. You will be responsible for managing underground plants and mobile machinery of shafts.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act and related regulations in infrastructure design and maintenance.
- Align change initiatives through structured change management.
- Use data insights and trends to optimize control systems and practices.
- Implement models to improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee quality processes and ensure adherence to TQM principles.
- Manage engineering contractors in underground operations.
- Provide effective maintenance for equipment and infrastructure within legal obligations.
- Streamline processes and resolve operational conflicts.
- Drive continuous improvement and enhance equipment reliability.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree (BSc. or BTech)/Diploma in Engineering
- GCC Mines & Works
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Section Engineer within the mining industry.
- Extensive experience in underground mechanized mining.
- Valid Driver's License
