Hire Resolve's Client are looking for an experienced Shaft Fitter to join their team at a mining operation in the Northern Cape region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting, specifically in the maintenance and repair of mining shafts and associated equipment. This role will involve working in underground shafts, so the candidate must be comfortable with confined spaces and have a strong commitment to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Daily inspections
- Conduct fitting work which supports maintenance and installations
- Assist to ensure safe and effective operations
- Comply with quality standards
- Adhere to maintenance and production schedules
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- A Valid Fitter Trade Certificate
- N3 Certificate
- 3 years post apprenticeship Fitter experience in Winders as Fitter within a mining environment
Benefits:
- Salary: R800k – R1m CTC
