Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires expertise in diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs while adhering to manufacturer guidelines and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles.
- Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and performance-related issues.
- Use diagnostic software and specialized tools to troubleshoot problems.
- Conduct scheduled services, engine repairs, brake and suspension work, and transmission maintenance.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and necessary repairs.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history.
- Stay up to date with technical training and advancements in automotive technology.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the workshop.
Minimum Requirements:
- Automotive Technician qualification (Trade Test Certificate or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a technician or working with German luxury vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools (ISTA, Rheingold, INPA, etc.).
- Ability to interpret technical service bulletins and repair manuals.
- Understanding of electrical systems, engine diagnostics, and transmission repairs.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working in a Premium Brand dealership or authorized service center.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
