Bookkeeper / Administrator Needed for Hospitality Industry in Sandton:
Reporting to the management team and ultimately the General Manager, this position's primary responsibility is ensuring the consistent capturing, scrutinizing, and reporting of accurate administrative procedures in the regular operations of restaurant.
The Bookkeeper / Administrator to oversee the support operations of the business.
Ensure that there is effective information flow and organised and detail-orientated with good analytical skills to run day-to-day operations.
General Responsibilities:
• A working understanding of restaurant operations
• Execution of general accounting principles
• Ensure all systems, processes and procedures are compliant with SOP
• Ability to understand and covert metric units
• Ability to scrutinise stock management checks
• Liaise with Group POS and IT Administrator
• Liaise with the management team in the form of regular management meetings on all administrative goals, processes and results
• Consistently update the system requirements
• Update Micros stock control lists
• Accurately acquiring and analysing repots o Inventory control
• Maintenance
• The ability to action and / or flag emails
• Office and stationary controls
• Maintain a code of ethics as per SOP / disciplinary code with HR Department
• Other administrative duties as required Responsibilities by Function:
