Key Responsibilities:
Design and create innovative, high-quality menus
Manage food preparation, presentation, and cooking procedures
Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen
Oversee kitchen staff and training
Monitor food cost, waste, and efficiency to optimize the kitchen’s operations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety regulations
Creative flair with a passion for unique, high-quality cuisine
Exceptional leadership and team management skills
Flexibility to work in a dynamic, high-paced environment
Location: Sandton
Salary: R35,000 to R50,000 (based on experience)
