Who are we looking for: A Media Sales Specialist with TV and radio media sales experience.
What will you do:
As a Media Sales Specialist, you will drive our advertising initiatives across radio and television within your portfolio to achieve your target. This role requires a deep passion for sales and skilful strategic selling
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to grow a robust portfolio of new advertisers
- Increase sales and drive revenue growth within your portfolio
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies and client decision-makers
- Meet and exceed sales goals and targets
- Understand your clients’ needs to tailor and present compelling pitches to secure high-value advertising deals
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless results, from pitching to campaign executions
- Understand market trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge in media advertising
What do you need:
- Minimum of five years of sales experience in the media advertising space
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies that grow a portfolio of new advertisers and drive revenue growth
- Strong skills in identifying and developing new business opportunities and solutions
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Client-centric approach with a focus on ensuring client satisfaction and retention
- Good knowledge of the South African Radio and TV industry
- Self-driven and accountable in every step of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals
- Strong time management skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating accountability and effective communication
- Ability to thrive under pressure and a willingness to learn and grow in the role
- Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
