Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Internal Sales Rep to join their team. The Internal Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s sales activities by engaging with customers, managing inquiries, and processing orders. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to maintain customer satisfaction and support sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing solutions.
- Provide technical or product information to customers as needed.
Sales Support
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Generate and follow up on quotes, ensuring timely responses to customers.
- Assist in identifying customer needs and upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order details in the CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding pricing, delivery, and returns.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts as requested by the Sales Manager.
Collaboration
- Coordinate with external sales representatives and other departments (e.g., logistics, accounts, and marketing) to ensure seamless customer service.
- Support the Sales Manager in achieving team sales targets.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate or equivalent (essential).
- A qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration (advantageous).
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in an internal sales or customer service role.
- Knowledge of [industry-specific (import and export wholesale) products/services] is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
