We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fitter to join our team. This role will be responsible for fitting and maintaining tyres, ensuring optimal performance, and providing excellent service to our customers. Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Fitter to work with our team to install and maintain tyres on various vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all tyre installations meet company standards and are completed in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities: • Fit tyres on vehicles, ensuring proper installation and safety. • Inspect and assess the condition of tyres before fitting. • Perform maintenance and repairs on tyres, including puncture repairs. • Provide customers with advice on tyre care and maintenance. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including keeping tools and equipment in good condition. • Assist with stock control and inventory management. • Follow all safety guidelines and industry regulations when performing work. • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. • Keep accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to the manager. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar mechanical role. • In-depth knowledge of tyres, tyre fitting, and maintenance procedures. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • A valid driver’s license is a plus. • High school diploma or equivalent.
