Job Description We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier to process transactions, manage the cash register, and provide excellent service to customers. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our company, ensuring every customer interaction is positive, while maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities - Operate cash registers and handle monetary transactions with accuracy. - Greet and assist customers with their purchases. - Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift. - Assist with stock replenishment and ensure shelves are properly stocked. - Ensure that all transactions are recorded in compliance with company procedures. - Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy. - Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor or manager. - Provide feedback to management on customer experiences. Requirements - Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role. - Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately. - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Attention to detail and organizational skills. - High school diploma or equivalent (required). - Availability to work weekends and holidays, as required. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems. - Knowledge of retail operations.
