Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and oversee Area Managers and store management teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Analyze large datasets to identify business priorities and create actionable plans to address challenges and optimize store performance.
- Promote a coaching leadership style, cultivating a culture of development and growth within the organization.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with store staff and management, facilitating collaboration to meet objectives.
- Identify and nurture talent, fostering a learning environment where employees are continuously developed for career progression.
- Manage operational complexity effectively, taking ultimate responsibility for up to 50 stores.
- Serve as a liaison between stores and the corporate board, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of strategies.
- Be hands-on in resolving operational issues, fixing underperforming stores, and leading strategic turnarounds.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven Retail Leadership Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years in senior retail management, overseeing multi-unit operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree: In Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (an MBA or equivalent is advantageous).
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A demonstrated ability to take ownership, innovate, and implement changes as though running your own business.
- Strong Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving profitability targets and implementing operational improvements.
- Analytical Expertise: Proficient in analyzing and interpreting business data to drive results.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, develop talent, and implement a coaching style of leadership.
- High Emotional Intelligence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage relationships across various levels.
- Organizational Agility: Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
