Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic Social Media Specialist to join the diverse marketing team and take the company’s social media presence to the next level. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Paid Media Specialist in creating and executing social media campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that effectively promote and communicate the company’s message and values, engage with their target audience, and drive traffic and conversions to their website.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4 years proven working experience in Social Media Marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
- BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO.
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
- Highly organized individual.
- Strong understanding of content narrative and storytelling across social channels.
- Creative thinker and excellent written and verbal skills.
- Experience in planning, building, and analysing digital marketing campaigns.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
Duties include the following, but not limited to:
- Develop; coordinate and execute the company’s social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification to improve company online presence and brand awareness.
- - Manage a strategically driven social content calendar for the company and coordinate the in-house creative production team for effective implementation of the schedule.
- - Help manage and produce creative and original content (copy, images, and video) for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube.
- - Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
- - Joining relevant conversations on behalf of the company and “soft selling” products by providing support to current and prospective customers.
- - Working closely with the customer service team as their point of contact to ensure that all customer-facing; social complaints/issues are resolved with urgency.
- - Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
- - Provide data analysis (social platforms) and metric reporting to Marketing Manager
- - Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)—like link clicks, likes, and other metrics—of social media marketing campaigns.
- - Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
Salary: R17 000 CTC
