The HR Administrator will be responsible for a range of HR administrative duties with a focus on payroll processing and employee support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, with at least 3 years of experience. The role requires proficiency in handling various HR systems and the ability to manage both electronic and hard copy personnel records.
Location: Johannesburg Eastern Suburbs (Kempton Park / Isando)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
Salary: R23,000 to R25,000 CTC (Compulsory Provident Fund company contribution at 9%, 7.5% employee contribution)

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and submit HR reports to the HR Manager.
Provide a list of new employees to the management.
Submit a list of terminated employees to IT.
Extract requested documents for internal audits.
Employee Support and ESS Management:
Assist employees with ESS registration and profile management.
Create mock payslips for employee review.
Provide branches with salary history for UIF documentation and assist with completing UIF forms.
Personnel Records and Compliance:
Organize and maintain both electronic and hard copy personnel records.
Complete UIF documentation for Head Office staff.
Consolidate input from branches and update tracking document.
Onboarding and Requisition Management:
Submit Head Office staff requisitions, EAAs, and employee adjustments via the onboarding app.
Assist with updating job descriptions.
Provide administrative support for updating company policies.
HR Administration Support:
Issue employee numbers and manage the (de)activation of PMN for employees.
Assist the HR Manager with new starter notices, access forms, and long service lists for certificates.
Compile documents for B-BBEE audits and support transformation officers.
Capture employee survey data.
Compliance & Background Checks:
Conduct criminal, credit, and qualification checks for Head Office and selected branches.
General Administration:
Handle general HR administrative duties as needed.
Learnership Payroll:
Receive payroll input from branches and process learnership payroll.
Send payroll details to branches for confirmation.
Manage onboarding and termination of learners on payroll.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Diploma in HR or a related field (advantageous)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Strong experience in payroll processing (3 years minimum)
Proficiency in HR systems (Payspace and Sage VIP Premier advantageous)
