Job Summary:
We are looking for a Head of Finance / Finance Manager to manage, plan, and coordinate financial operations. This role involves leading financial planning and reporting, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial record-keeping and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Prepare and present financial reports and regulatory submissions, including consolidated analytics and monthly reporting packs.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, and departmental activities.
- Develop and maintain customer and business relationships; assist in resolving financial issues.
- Review and manage monthly audit files, general ledger reconciliations, and credit note analysis.
- Deliver and interpret monthly management accounts and provide insightful reports to executives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, working closely with sales managers.
- Manage service level agreements and monthly charge-outs.
- Oversee Capex management, including monthly reviews and forecasts against budget.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Analyse sales performance, gaps, and collection reports to manage outstanding balances.
- Manage stock control
- Collaborate on system implementations and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Honours)
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
