Job Summary
Qualification- Matric
- Valid Forklift / Stacker License
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the warehouse including managing all movement of stock, picking orders for customers for dispatch, arranging deliveries / collections, receiving goods from suppliers, investigating variances and non-conformances and ensuring the system records accurately match the physical stock
- Valid South African Drivers License
- Computer literate on MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook
- Picking / Checking customer orders in accordance with company procedures
- Preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Picking / Checking Interbranch Transfers in accordance with company procedures
- Safely drive the delivery van or company car to transport company products, supplies and personnel safely to various destinations throughout the city and surrounding areas
- Completion of daily vehicle & equipment checklists and ensuring preventative maintenance activities are performed (including ensuring that the vehicles are clean at all times)
- Loading/unloading products/supplies from vehicles
- Checking of goods delivered by Suppliers/Transfers from Warehouse
- Putting stock away and performing bin transfers following company procedures
- Ensure that Quality Management standards are adhered to at all times
- Monitor the temperature/humidity of the warehouse daily
- Perform daily stock counts
- Manage the goods returned cage
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the warehouse processes
