1.1.1. Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for optimizing logistics operations. You will oversee our supply chain processes, manage customer relationships, and implement best practices that foster growth and innovation within the logistics sector.

1.1.2. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage logistics strategies that optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Oversee the planning and coordination of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management activities.
• Monitor and analyze key logistics metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and clients to streamline processes and enhance service quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting and sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication across departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards in all logistics operations.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals and drivers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to optimize logistics operations and maintain competitive advantage.

1.1.3. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Institute of Supply Chain Management) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics management, with a proven track record in the transportation or logistics sector.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, transportation regulations, and best practices in logistics.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
