Job Summary
Our client has an opportunity available for a Financial Analyst and Planning based in Rivonia.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting,
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- Sage X3 experience.
- Financial Modelling and Microsoft Excel advanced knowledge.
- CIMA qualification,
- Certified financial modelling certificate would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
- Identify and drive process improvements.
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools.
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation by creating forecasts and models.
- Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Work closely with the Financial Reporting and operations team to ensure accurate financial reporting that supports the analysis of data for decision making.
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Provide the analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
