Job Summary
Our client, a non-profit, Medical Scheme and one of the top four open medical schemes in the country is seeking a Legal and Corporate Governance Manager for the Pretoria area.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Provide comprehensive legal support and advisory services.
- To manage the compliance program and reviews all legal and compliance issues/concerns within the Business.
- To assist the Executive with risk management and manage litigation and governance for and on behalf of the scheme.
- Assist with policy development in line with legislation.
- Risk management.
- Provide legal and corporate governance advice to all stakeholders within the organisation.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- LLB Degree
- Admission as an Attorney
- Minimum 8 years Managerial experience in a Legal environment
- Membership of the Legal Practice Council (Previously Law Society)
Salary: Market related
