Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Location: Somerset West, Cape Town
Salary: R480k – R600k per annum
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Sales and Marketing coordinator who can coordinate sales and marketing activities in support of the overall business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with the health team to ensure that sales opportunities are pursued with pro-activeness, tenacity and professional materials aligned to our marketing strategy. Foster strong client relationships while enhancing awareness and interest in our offerings. This position is based at our Head Office reporting into the Chief Innovation Officer.
Requirements:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Business Management/Marketing or a related field.
3 to 5 years in a similar role in a B2B company, preferably in the Health sector.
Tech savvy - can talk the language of technology with ease.
Experience working with technology solutions would be beneficial.
Basic graphic design experience in a marketing role.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft desktop applications.
Ambitious, self-motivated and goal driven.
Proven planning and organising experience.
Purpose and impact driven.
Strong project management skills and having excellent attention to detail.
Professional and with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement.
Work independently whilst being a team player.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to navigate change.
Willing to travel when required.
Responsibilities:
Executing integrated marketing plans with a focus on lead generation, social media, email campaigns and analytics.
Desktop research of potential sales leads based on agreed criteria and creatively finding ways to contact the right individuals in those companies for senior business leaders to follow up.
Manage relationships with third party vendors.
Administer the business’s sales pipeline, including:
Work with senior leaders to define the criteria to prioritise leads and then allocate attention/focus accordingly.
Pro-actively and tenaciously pursue potential leads over time until a sales engagement is enabled.
Seek to make human connections and establish relationships which are aligned with the values of the business.
Keep the Customer Service Management tool up to date and capture notes and actions from sales meetings.
Work with other team members to ensure actions are performed and deadlines are met.
Produce sales dashboards and reports, as agreed with senior leaders, that are accurate and on time.
Create appropriate content that educates and brings an awareness of our offerings.
Take ownership for all physical and digital sales collateral, ensuring consistent and up-to-date materials are used by team members.
Track, analyse and report on marketing campaigns performance.
Continuously look for ways to use technology to perform the above functions more effectively and efficiently.
