Job Duties:
As a Marketing Manager in the FMCG industry, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness and increase market share. Your duties will include conducting market research, identifying target audiences, creating marketing campaigns, managing budgets, and measuring campaign effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives.
The Duties Include But Will Not Be Limited To:
- Managing all marketing activities for BCE and within the marketing department.
- Developing the marketing strategy for BCE in line with company objectives.
- Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
- Managing the marketing budget.
- Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
- Analysing product sales by lines utilising marketing analysis tools such as BCG matrix.
- Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
- Managing and improving lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
- Overall responsibility for brand management and the corporate identity.
- Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
- Creating a wide range of different marketing materials.
- Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches.
- Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
- Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
- Responsible for events and attending trade shows as required.
- Accompanying the external sales team on sales calls as required.
- Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Grade 12/ Matric
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Package)
- SAP Literacy
- Familiarity with CRM tools
Experience and Knowledge
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience as a marketing manager
- Experience in the development of marketing strategies and brand awareness- 3 -5 Years
- Analytical and project management skills-3 -5 Years
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing and sales data- 3 -5 Years.
- Report writing to be able to present and give feedback to the relevant stakeholders within BCE.
