Job Summary
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- 2+ years of experience in credit control or risk management (compulsory)
- Strong understanding of credit assessment principles
- Familiar with regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, FICA)
Responsibilities
Credit Vetting
- Conduct thorough credit checks on new and existing Customers
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents
- Evaluate creditworthiness based on established criteria
- Recommend credit limits and terms
- Monitor Customer credit exposure and adjust limits as needed
Compliance & Risk Management
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations
- Identify and report potential risks to management
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate and organized credit files
- Update Customer information in the database
- Generate credit reports and analytics
