Job Summary
Job Title: UI Developer - Sandton - 12 month contract

Job Duties:
- Designing and developing user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementing responsive design principles to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a UI Developer or similar role
- Strong portfolio of design projects
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UI Developer or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Certifications in UI/UX design
Working Conditions:
- This is a 12-month contract position based in Sandton
- Expected to work Full-Time hours
- May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines
