Job Summary
The CIO is responsible for the Group’s management, implementation, and usability of information and computer technologies, including determining the Group’s current systems and technology use, developing a strategy that will enable the Group to use technology to fast-trac its growth and value creation strategy and improve productivity and profitability, whilst ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Your:
- Formal Education:
- A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field is required.
- A master's degree in business management or IT management will be beneficial.
- Completed a senior management development program.
- Experience
- Minimum 15 years’ experience as CIO in information technology in financial services.
- 10+ years management-level experience.

- Designing and customizing technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience.
- Working with upper-level IT staff to develop and implement department goals.
- Staying abreast of emerging technologies that can improve IT department performance and increase company profits.
- Creating and implementing IT policies, protocols, and standards.
- Ensuring that IT department strategies and processes provide appropriate support to company-wide goals.
- Overseeing contract negotiations with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Communicating with other executives regarding costs, value, and risk-potential of new IT projects.
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of the annual IT business development plan in conjunction with the CEO and in accordance with the budget and business strategy.
- Monitor and report on operations.
- Direct and organize IT-related projects.
- Manage external service providers.
- Work with the Group’s Support Services departments to implement all Group policies related to Compliance, HR, Finance and other services.
