Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician
Location: Johannesburg North Area
A very well-known motor dealership is looking to appoint a Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and the necessary qualifications to perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic assessments and vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
- Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and in compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on vehicle maintenance to customers as needed.
- Keep accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with a recognized trade qualification.
- Proven experience working as a vehicle technician at a motor dealership.
- No criminal record.
- Contactable references from previous employers or dealerships.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
