Job Advert: After Sales Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation of After Sales Strategic Focus Areas as outlined in the annual After Sales Business Plan.
- Provide expert After Sales consulting services to assigned region and Dealers.
- Manage Dealer performance in achieving Customer Experience Management, Parts, and Service business objectives.
- Collaborate with Dealers to develop and track business plans to meet targets aligned with After Sales strategy and drive future market share growth.
- Conduct regular Dealer visits, reviewing performance data and recommending actions to improve After Sales performance.
- Ensure Dealers meet Franchise Agreement requirements for After Sales operations, including electronic systems (ETKA, ElsaPro, IPartner) and address training needs.
- Understand and enforce relevant company policies, including Service Core Process, Warranty, Service & Maintenance Plans, Parts Sales & Targeting, and Dealer Performance/Review processes.
- Assist Dealers in resolving escalated customer complaints within the companies structures.
- Advise Dealers on parts ordering processes, ensuring adherence to the companies protocols and supporting parts sales optimization.
- Stay informed on the South African motor industry market, competitor activity, and assist Dealers in strategic planning.
- Identify marketing opportunities to promote the companies After Sales campaigns, driving Dealer awareness and sales.
- Foster a strong relationship between Dealers and the business, managing conflicts and ensuring adherence to the companies Business Code of Conduct.
- Work with Training Academies to manage technical and non-technical competency at Dealer level.
- Participate in cross-functional workshops or projects for business continuity and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Regional Sales Managers, Regional Business Managers, Technical Field Force) to meet After Sales objectives.
- Assist with recruitment and selection of key personnel within Dealerships when required.

- Computer literacy.
Added Advantage:
- Retail automotive experience.
- Previous experience in automotive field services (Service & Parts).
- Strong customer-centric focus.
- Experience with Service Core Process (SCP).
