Our client is looking for an experienced Security/CCTV Alarm Technician to handle new project installations, service call-outs, scheduled maintenance, and structured cabling. This role requires a skilled technician specializing in fault finding, with expertise in surveillance, networking, alarms, access control, electric fencing, gate motors, and automated garage doors. Candidates with these additional skills will stand out for this position. Key Responsibilities: CCTV Surveillance & Networking System Design, Installation, & Maintenance: Design, install, and maintain IP-based CCTV systems, optimizing security coverage and system reliability. Video Analytics: Set up and program video analytics for enhanced monitoring. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of camera types, lenses, blind spots, and fiber splicing is advantageous. Client Training: Provide system training and operational support to clients. Alarm Systems Installation & Maintenance: Perform new installations and fault finding on wired and wireless alarm systems. Technical Setup: Skilled in programming systems and placing PIR detectors for optimal security. Client Training: Conduct training and system handovers for clients. Access Control System Setup: Install and configure fingerprint readers, facial recognition, and software for access control. Automated Gates: Maintain boom barriers, turnstiles, and gate automation for secure access points. Client Training: Educate clients on access control system operation.Error!
