Job Summary
Job Description:
Perform fault finding and repairs
Oversee the installation and commissioning of machines at client sites
Provide ongoing maintenance and customer support assistance
Rebuild and service equipment, addressing breakdowns and troubleshooting issues
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards
Deliver exceptional customer service
Manage and coordinate Works Orders and Customer Support jobs to ensure timely delivery
Offer technical support to customers, spare part representatives, mechanical & electrical design engineers, and technicians
Conduct customer training and assess machine performance
Implement quality control and assurance processes
Handle administrative tasks efficiently
Skills & Experience:
Fully qualified Millwright
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in machine building and production machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Preferred experience in the Liquid Packaging Industry (e.g., fillers, unscramblers, end-of-line equipment, blow moulders, cappers, etc.)
Strong knowledge of electrical and pneumatic fault finding
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
Positive attitude, self-motivated, and dependable
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, and MS Outlook
Valid Code B Driver’s license
Minimum requirements
Millwright Trade Test
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in machine building and production machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
