Job Summary
Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager in Vendor or Horizontal Partnerships.
Requirements:
- 3+ years tertiary degree.
- Relevant certification with a professional body as required.
- 8+ years’ experience in an area of specialization coupled with supervising or managing others.
- Sales and service development experience- essential.
- An understanding of partner lifecycle management- essential.
- Previously worked across diverse cultures and geographies would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy implementation.
- Lead the Vendor or Horizontal Partnership function by leveraging the company brand and industry standards to secure the company as a partner of choice.
- Vendor or Horizontal Partnership Management.
- Drive the enrichment of internal capability by identifying current high-priority vendor or horizontal partners for individual initiatives and projects.
- Project management.
- Monitor and track project progress by coordinating the project activities and aligning external and internal stakeholders to enable successful execution.
- Governance and risk management.
- Manage compliance to the partnership rules of engagement as well as contractual obligations.
- Revenue, budget and cost management.
- Contribute towards budget management within the function by identifying inefficient areas.
- People leadership and organisational capability building.
- Manage, couch and mentor team members by understanding team members’ aspirations and goals.
