Job Title: Head: Fiduciary Division: Financial Advisory Services Overview: An exciting leadership opportunity exists for a dynamic and results-driven professional to head the fiduciary services division. This role involves developing and growing the fiduciary function, driving business strategies, and delivering exceptional estate planning solutions tailored to high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and relationship management skills to establish the fiduciary offering as a trusted and respected service. Key Responsibilities: 1. Fiduciary Development and Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic business plan for the fiduciary function. Establish standardized service offerings and process flows. Build strong relationships with service providers, intermediaries, and business partners. Draft agreements for legal review and oversee the adoption of supporting technology. Create and execute a marketing strategy to promote fiduciary services. 2. Technical Expertise: Provide expert estate planning services, including drafting wills and trust deeds. Advise on tax-efficient estate and company structuring. Facilitate both local and offshore trust/company structuring. Review and amend legal documents to ensure accuracy and relevance. 3. Financial and Risk Management: Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and draft regulatory manuals. Identify and mitigate potential business risks. 4. Collaboration and Client Engagement: Partner with internal teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Support marketing efforts to promote fiduciary services to clients and stakeholders. Conduct presentations to educate clients and internal teams on fiduciary offerings. 5. Leadership and Team Development: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing fiduciary team. Provide training on legislative changes and industry best practices. Foster a culture of teamwork and professional growth. Performance Measures: Achievement of sales and growth targets. Positive feedback from stakeholders and clients. Effective risk and compliance management. Establishment of the fiduciary division as a trusted service for high-net-worth clients. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., BCom Law, LLB, or equivalent). CFP certification (advantageous). 510 years of experience in fiduciary services, with a focus on estate planning. Knowledge of fiduciary regulations and financial advisory legislation. Proven expertise in working with high-net-worth clients and intermediary networks. Strong skills in risk management, sales, and negotiation.
