Job Summary
HERTEX FABRICS is a leading supplier of high-quality fabrics, rugs, wallpaper, and homeware for both the local and international markets and are looking for a SHOWROOM MANAGER TO RUN THEIR GARDENS, CAPE TOWN SHOWROOM.IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES, THEN THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU:
- Strong interest in the décor field
- Outgoing, dynamic, and driven
- Highly motivated, loyal, and committed
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong administration skills
- Team focused
THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:
- National Senior Certificate (Non-negotiable)
- Comfortable working every 2nd Saturday (Non-negotiable)
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing; Interior Décor/Design or similar (advantageous)
- Minimum +5 years sales experience in a retail or interior décor environment with exposure to high-end brands
- Minimum 5 years people management experience
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Meet showroom sales targets and deliver customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
- Maintain showroom operations and image
- Management of showroom and staff and maintaining employee motivation and performance
- Build productive relationships with customers and industry
- Support sales consultants
