Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is a growing beverage manufacturing company based in the Western Cape, specializing in the production of high-quality beverages. As they expand their operations, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join their sales team as a Sales Representative.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Western Cape region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Represent the company and its products at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings, ensuring a professional and knowledgeable brand image.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales and promotional strategies that align with company objectives.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the management team, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving any product-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Continuously update product knowledge and participate in product training sessions to ensure a thorough understanding of our offerings.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance using CRM software.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales role, preferably within the FMCG beverage industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to influence customer decision-making.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape region as required.
- A passion for the beverage industry and a solid understanding of market dynamics and consumer preferences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.
