About the role:
As a Sales Agent, through the YES program, you will be responsible for assisting in achieving specific sales and service requirements, as directed by your line manager.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the achievement of sales targets at indicated branches
- Achieve individual targets as communicated by your line manager.
- Maintain enthusiasm and ensure that energy levels are appropriate at all times.
- Greet and welcome customers when conducting promotions, and when you are assigned to process in-store.
- Generating new leads through various selling and promotional activities
- Promoting products and services that include but are not limited to sim-only deals, prepaid voice and data, top-up, post-paid voice and data, LTE, smart-voice, DSL, and Fibre packages.
- Conduct a customer needs analysis to determine the reasons for visiting the store.
- Providing product information and service recommendations to match customer needs.
- Advise customers on the documentation needed to apply for products and/or services.
- Check and verify customer paperwork to detect fraudulent applications.
- Ensure BVS, mandate, and paperless compliance within the store and ensure that discrepancies get resolved.
- Log cases to the relevant queues, related to any customer queries, suspected fraudulent applications, and any risk that is detected (multiple devices) when conducting the relevant checks.
- Follow up with customers on application status and queries
- Inform clients regarding relevant turn-around times and back-office processes.
- Complete and update all relevant sheets, reports, and trackers, as per company requirements.
- Attend and complete all relevant training.
- Keep updated with the latest devices, trends, competitive products, and services.
Requirements:
- Matric pass.
- Well-spoken.
- Well Groomed.
- Computer Literate.
- Target Driven.
- South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
- Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
