Job Summary
Key responsibilities & duties:
Our Client is looking for a Sales Representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals.
- Generating leads
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
- Maintaining client records
- Assisting customers with queries related to products, pricing and availability
- Servicing of new and existing customers
- Completing of call reports
- Assisting customers with technical advice and queries
- Sales & budget forecasts
- Opening up of new accounts
- Achieving monthly target
- Establishing, developing and maintaining good customer relationships
Minimum requirements:
- Syspro experience required
- Must have a valid drivers’ licence
- Minimum of 3-4 years Sales experience required in the Steel & Tube / Hardware / Fluid control industry – preferred
- But are just looking for a candidate who is strong in Sales – product knowledge in our industry can be taught
- Understanding of sales process and dynamics
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
