Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a Sales Person to join their team. The Sales Person will play a key role in assisting with project management and sales activities within the corporate office furniture sector. This multifaceted position involves supporting the execution of client projects, managing timelines, and ensuring that deliverables are met, while also driving business development efforts, managing client relationships, and securing new business opportunities. The role requires a blend of project coordination, sales expertise, and technical knowledge of office furniture design, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to both operational and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing project activities.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain project schedules, and update project plans under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, keeping team members informed and aligned.
- Monitor orders to optimize productivity and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and project reports.
- Assist Project Manager with proposals and presentations.
- Assist in managing client communications, including emails, phone calls, and progress updates.
- Prepare collection, delivery, and service notes.
- Help with loading orders and checking all items for accuracy as per project requirements.
- Assist with tracking timelines, identifying delays, and communicating risks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Sales & Business Development:
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the corporate office furniture sector.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and repeat business.
- Assess client requirements, prepare tailored solutions, and provide expert advice on office furniture and design options.
- Deliver presentations to clients, explaining product offerings and project plans.
- Prepare accurate costing and quotes for clients.
- Secure orders from both existing and prospective clients.
- Manage and administrate sales orders from start to completion.
- Stay informed on new product offerings, technical information, and market conditions to better assist clients and support sales growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent industry-specific experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in the office furniture industry or a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both in the office and on the road, visiting clients.

Working Conditions:

- Allocated client area: Sandton/Midrand.
