About the role
To promote and support the marketing efforts to promote our services, attract new customers, and enhance brand awareness within the transportation industry.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct a market Search- Conduct a market search to gather insights into the industry trends, customer preferences, and the company’s competitor activities.
2. Event coordination - Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events as and when required.
3. Digital Marketing Management - Ensure the management of all marketing channels, Company website, Online advertisements, and Social media profiles. Attend and respond to customer queries and comments.
4. Compile findings reports
- Liaise with the managing director about the findings to develop informed marketing strategies.
- Media impressions and post-event sales - Engage management in planning to monitor and check the planned event milestones.
- Website traffic, social media engagement
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with the operations department and sales to ensure alignment of the marketing initiative with overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business administration, Communication, or any related field.
- Proactive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and to adapt to changing priorities.
- Team player to ensure effective collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft proficiency.
- Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
- South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
