Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Internal Sales Consultant the join their team. The Internal Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales, providing excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs, offering tailored solutions, and maintaining a well-organized showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
- Welcome and assist customers in the showroom.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product recommendations.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers.
Sales Management:
- Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting tile products and related accessories.
- Manage quotes, follow-ups, and sales transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the system.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on tile products, trends, and installation methods.
- Provide technical advice on product suitability and usage.
Showroom Maintenance:
- Ensure the showroom is neat, visually appealing, and well-stocked.
- Update product displays to reflect promotions or new arrivals.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the external sales team and management to achieve branch objectives.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery of products.
Customer Feedback:
- Address customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Gather feedback to improve the shopping experience.
Requirements:
Education:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 3+ years of experience in a retail sales role, preferably in the tile or building materials industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sales-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office and sales management software).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Personal Attributes:
- Well-groomed and presentable.
- Energetic and enthusiastic about customer service and sales.
- Good problem-solving and negotiation skills.
