Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow the client base
- Achieve budget per client
- Build relationships with multiple client levels (Strategic, Tactical & Operational)
- Manage client expectations and overcome objections
- Create and update account plans and strategies
- Manage existing client renewals
- Coordinate and complete RFPs/Tenders
- Innovate with client accounts and understand their business needs
- Attend sales training and share best practices
- Present to clients and work closely with Operations & Customer Service
- Quantify value to clients and increase wallet share
- Visit clients regularly and negotiate contracts
- Assist Debtors in collecting aged monies
- Monitor service levels and implement action plans
- Implement management reporting tools and assess client profitability
- Attend sales meetings and submit reports on time
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in Transport/Logistics Services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Strong ability to close deals and solve problems
- Positive, results-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
- Driver’s License.
