Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Consultant to join our team and help us continue to grow our business by selling our variety of mobility solutions, including Home Lifts and Stairlifts. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and a passion for sales. As a Sales Consultant, you will be crucial in identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and providing outstanding customer service. Your ability to connect with clients and understand their unique needs will be critical to your success, and your commitment to ethical behaviour will reflect our values as a company. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities and achieve monthly sales targets. 2. Proactively seek out new business opportunities and build a robust pipeline of leads. 3. Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to determine the best mobility solution unique to the clients requirements and provide expert product knowledge and advice. 4. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. 5. Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a smooth installation process for the client. 6. Follow up with outstanding accounts promptly and take necessary steps to resolve any issues. 7. Stay current with industry trends and developments, and leverage this knowledge to position the Co as a leader in the market. 8. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture and work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. 9. Adhere to high ethical standards of behaviour in all aspects of your work, including honesty, accountability, and integrity. Requirements: 1. Proven sales experience in a similar role, with a track record of exceeding sales targets for at least five years. 2. A passion for sales and a customer-focused mindset. 3. A results-driven, agile, and adaptable mindset is a prerequisite. 4. Experience managing multiple sales projects simultaneously and delivering timely sales targets. Minimum target of 3 sales per month is required. 5. Strong negotiation and closing skills. 6. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. 7. Highly structured and organised, with the ability to plan and methodically execute sales activities. 8. Knowledge of CRM software and ability to use it effectively to manage leads and track sales activities. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. Work from the office Montague Gardens, Cape Town. Business hours are 08:00 17:00. 11. Business language: English and Afrikaans. Any other national language will be a bonus. 12. The successful candidate must also be willing to travel and be away from their family for short periods. One week per month may be spent in outlying areas such as Eastern Cape, KwaZulu Natal or Namibia. 13. South African Citizen. 14. Drivers License with own reliable transport.
