Job Summary
Are you a dynamic, well-presented and young individual looking to create a career in sales and marketing? As this is a junior role the ideal candidate will be not older than 25 years of age. The position is to start January 2025
Roles & responsibilities:
- Cold calling both new and existing clients to build a sales pipe-line
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
- Visiting potential customers for new business
- Providing customers with quotations
- Gathering market and customer information
- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
- Liaising with suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office
- Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Computer skills such as - spreadsheets, word, email
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Excellent listening ability
Requirements:
- Self-motivated, confident & tenacious
- Own reliable motor vehicle and drivers license
- Fully bilingual English & Afrikaans
