About the role
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to provide administrative support to our overall team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions, providing exceptional support to our operations team, and maintaining confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Responsibilities
Administrative Support- Provide administrative assistance to the team.
- Preparing and editing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
- Booking travel arrangements for staff and management.
- HR and Finance related support and administrative tasks.
- Assisting with special projects and initiatives.
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs for office equipment and facilities.
Communication and Correspondence
- Handle internal and external communications.
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues.
- Communicate with suppliers, clients, and stakeholders as and when required.
- Drafting and sending letters, emails, and other correspondence.
- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Data Management and Analysis- Assist with data management and analysis.
- Maintaining and updating spreadsheets and databases.
- Analyzing data to identify trends and patterns.
General Administrative DutiesRequirements
Matric.
Qualification in Administration.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
