Job Summary
Our client is searching for a Technical Sales Representative to join their team.
Main Purpose
Plan and implement the sales and marketing activities within the company to promote the company as a market leader focusing on customer satisfaction and quality installations.
Duties
- Ensure sales of the Company’s products and services to new and existing clients.
- Count Management of existing customers to ensure their overall satisfaction with products and services delivered to ensure repeat business.
- On-site customer consultations to provide the most suitable solution.
- Review tender documentation for potential business and attend tender briefing meetings.
- Ensure regular customer visits.
- Exhibition arrangements and attendance.
- Apply strategic action plan for new business.
- Provide technical information to customers about systems, services, and product uses.
- Close liaison with estimating team w.r.t tender progress and customer interaction.
- Ensure that the Customer is aware of the products and services based on analyses of their requirements.
- Ensure that the Customer is aware of technical aspects, product capabilities and limitations.
- Negotiation of prices and terms of sales and service agreements with customers by the company protocols.
Minimum qualification required
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in Civil/Construction Engineering or similar or a marketing/sales qualification
Minimum Experience required
- Sales experience in a technical environment will be a definite advantage
