International industrial pump company is looking for an experienced Pump Sales Engineer for their service division in Johannesburg. Requirements: * Matric minimum, Mechanical Engineering qualification preferred * Minimum 5 years pump sales experience focusing on mining, wastewater and water, energy, petrochemical * Pump refurbishment sales experience * Site experience and good repair knowledge on pumps * Computer literate, SAP experience advantageous * Professional and committed approach in all areas * Positive ‘can do’ attitude * Customer centric * Accuracy and attention to detail * Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills * Ability to work well in a team and independently * Time management * Prioritise and meet deadlines * Ability to work under pressure, and as part of a team Responsibilities: * Growing and diversifying the service customer base, bringing them up to speed with latest developments, probing for future business, soliciting new business and improving / developing customer relations * Promoting the company's service brand, especially re-engineering/retrofit * Setting up appointments for new customers and prospective customers * Collaborating with internal stakeholders to make sure customer needs are met * Maintaining activities in (SAP) C4C / C4S in line with company's service requirements * Recording, analysing, reporting and administering according to systems and requirements (C4C / C4S) * Providing technical and commercial solutions to customers * Supporting with queries and technical information as and when required * Understanding the principles of rotating equipment retrofit * Complying with and enforcing all company policies and procedures * Assisting fellow employees with daily functions as and when required Contact Scott on 0117041302
